Announcing ACORN Workshop on Working with Distributors
February 5, 2018
ACORN business development workshops are an opportunity to open up new outlets for products to be sold locally or regionally. Next up is February 13th, a workshop on learning to work with distributors for new market opportunities.
This informative meeting is suitable for fruit, vegetable and value added producers seeking a better understanding of distribution variables in reaching new markets. This workshop is designed to clarify the roles of distributors and help emerging businesses to decide if they are ready to move away from self-distribution.
Producers will learn first hand from two locally owned distributors, Vermont Roots and Upper Valley Produce, the steps to help make products more widely available to sell in Vermont or regionally. Learn some of the ins and outs of distribution to make Vermont products accessible the state and the region. Sign up for workshops at acornvt.org
