"COOKIN WITH COFFEE "  Transform leftover French bread into a unique French toast, and don't throw out the left over coffee.  For those who aren't quite awake by breakfast, the milk and coffee mixture can be prepared the night before.2 Eggs,1/4 cup milk,1/4 cup dark brewed coffee,2tbls lightly packed brown sugar,2 tbl coffee liqueur,1/4 tes cinnamon,1/4 teas nutmeg,4 slices bread, 3 tbls unsalted butter.
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, coffee, sugar,coffee liqueur, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  Pour into pie plate, soak bread in egg mixture for 2-3 min turn and repeat on the other side.  Heat butter in a skillet, drain the bread and fry over med high heat until golden brown. Serve with Vermont Maple Syrup Yummm  Now your "COOKIN WITH COFFEE" !
